Athlometer (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the Athlometer platform (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Service.

- Usage data: pages visited, features used, actions taken, timestamps, and session duration.

2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
- Process athlete data and compute performance metrics as configured by you.

- Within your organization: data is shared with members of your organization according to the role-based access controls you configure (Owner, Admin, Coach, Athlete).

- Legal requirements: we may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or government request.
- Business transfers: in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change.
- With your consent: we may share information for purposes not described here with your explicit consent.
4. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account, we will make your data available for export for 30 days, after which it will be permanently deleted from our systems within 90 days, except where retention is required by law.
Aggregated, anonymized data that cannot be used to identify you may be retained indefinitely for analytics and service improvement.

If a coach or organization enters data about minor athletes, that coach or organization is responsible for obtaining appropriate parental or guardian consent. The Service may contain links to or integrations with third-party services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any information.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through a prominent notice in the Service at least 30 days before the changes take effect. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
